Today we decided to spend the day in the city and while doing so we brought along a trusty tech Skylander by the name of Wind Up. Our day started off with a visit to the Nintendo World store. Last Friday we saw a tweet that read “Mario will be stopping by the Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games tournament”. This tweet came from the Nintendo World Twitter page. So we decided to stop by and greet Super Mario on this cold, sunny Sunday.
After the Nintendo World store we walked about five blocks down to the Toys-R-Us by Times Square. We figured this would be a good time to go “Skylander hunting” since we hardly make it out to the city as often as we would like. The visit to Toys-R-Us was a great one but sadly we did not find any Skylanders that we needed for our collection. Almost an hour of browsing 3 floors at Toys-R-Us we decided to walk over to the Lego Store at Rockefeller Center. What better way to end the day after watching Lego the Movie less than 24 hours ago?
All in all the family and I had a great day. Wind Up was with us all through out the four hours of shopping and walking around. Take a look at the pictures below as we visually documented Wind Up’s New York City adventure.
